Bob Kernen is HKO Media’s Director of Web and Interactive Services
In an era of viral videos, blogs, podcasting, chat rooms, wikis, and other forms of peer-to-peer media, it's not enough to simply broadcast or announce your story to the world. You have to provide opportunities for your users, consumers, and stakeholders to share their experiences and tell you their stories about your products and services.

HKO Media creates interactive experiences, social media environments, and Web communities that both enable and empower organizations to embrace these new storytellers. The results? Both your message and theirs are expressed with the highest possible impact.

"The challenge is how to personalize the Web experience," says Bob Kernen, HKO’s Director of Web and Interactive Services, "How do we turn a site into a community, a welcoming place that invites existing and potential clients, customers, and other stakeholders to join you in a lively and vibrant exchange of each other’s expertise about, their passion for, and experiences with your company’s products or services."

Before joining HKO Media, Bob Kernen worked for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia as Senior Director of Product Management for the Internet. At A&E Television Networks, Bob oversaw a diverse slate of projects including broadband, interactive, and advanced television products, games, and other emerging platforms. Prior to AETN, he was Director of Broadband for Women.com Networks, where he created the popular parenting Web site “Crayola FamilyPlay”, and led the company's efforts in developing new programming for broadband Internet distribution. Bob began his Internet career as Senior Producer of Entertainment and Children’s Programming at WebTV Networks in Palo Alto, California.
